Our client is an Australian owned property debt investment management specialist. The Partners and Directors of the business, who hold a range of relevant qualifications and memberships, have accrued many decades of experience within real estate development and fund management, private equity, asset acquisition and management, and social infrastructure. The business has secured significant institutional funding, and they are seeking a talented individual with a passion for real estate to expand their transaction analysis team.

Your role will be to support the Directors and Partners with analysis of potential investment opportunities within the real estate and social infrastructure sectors, undertaking quantitative modelling and valuations as required, and contributing to the execution and closure of deals along the way. As the team grows, so will your responsibilities, and you will assist the Partners with mentoring newer members of the transactions team. Being a small team with high ambitions, your chances for exposure to stimulating investment opportunities are significant.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

Several years' experience within the debt advisory division of a big four accounting firm, major bank, or other institution;
Very strong quant modelling and valuation skills, particularly using Excel;
Relevant Bachelor degree, preferably with additional qualifications;
Experience in debt capital markets;
Experience within Real Estate is beneficial;
Essential soft traits include problem solving skills, an analytical mindset, resourcefulness, maturity, and commercial acumen
