Our client is a highly successful boutique Fund Manager with an enviable and extensive track record.
Given the growth trajectory of the business, a new role has been created – essentially to work alongside the founder of the business to drive both the growth strategy and operations of the business.
The role is varied, and will take accountability for, but not limited to, the following:
*Developing and driving the annual operating plans and budgets;
*Optimising the Fund’s operations to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency is achieved;
*Collaborating on the Employee strategy for the business – how to attract, develop and retain the best possible team;
*Ensuring internal polices are adequate to ensure compliance with all risk, legal and regulatory requirements;
*Managing and developing key relationships with administrators, custodians, accountants, clients and regulators; *Overseeing the company secretarial functions;
*Assisting in the development of marketing and distribution strategies that can be executed by the Fund’s partners; and
*Researching and assisting with the design and development of new products that may broaden the firm’s current investor base
Ideally, you will have an extensive background in the funds management industry, having held a COO, Head of Operations, or General Management role, and be adept at working across a broad range of responsibilities at any given time.
This is a real leadership role, but will require an individual that is happy to roll up their sleeves and do what needs to be done. In return, there is a genuine opportunity to build an ownership stake in the business.
