Transaction & Relationship Manager – Sydney – #12584
Our client is forging their reputation as being a leader in providing innovative debt solutions on behalf of institutional investors for real assets. As a result of continued growth, they are looking to appoint an individual who can work closely with the investment team who can assist in the control, co ordination and implementation of property & property construction transactions, and their ongoing maintenance.
As part of the deal team, your role would include assisting in the planning and coordination of deal structures, and after the close of a deal, monitoring the ongoing business and credit risks relating to the ongoing business and credit exposures on the various loans, including assisting in the administration of monthly construction drawdowns, reviewing quantity surveyor reports and assessing the construction risks of each project finance investment. Given your insight into these loans, you will become a key internal and external stakeholder conduit – managing relationships with investors, lending partners, insurance, developers and professional advisors.
We would anticipate that you have approximately 3-5 years experience in a financial or project management role, preferably with a focus on the property construction sector. You will be a confident communicator, able to liaise with people of all levels, combined with exceptional organisational skills. In addition, you will have sound analytical skills – in data collection and analysis, combined with good insight into accounting and financial reporting. Given the complex nature of the business, you will be adept at developing well reasoned recommendations, identifying and addressing issues, problem solving, all combined with an eye for detail. Some exposure to legal documentation would also be ideal.
A real team player, you will be highly adaptable, able to flex to flex around the individual nuances of each deal and client. In return, you will be able to work collaboratively across the breadth of this fast growing organisation in a continually evolving role.
