• Responsibilities
• Conducting research on commercial and financial issues and synthesises this research in a clear and concise manner
• Building detailed financial models and assessing the value of projects using a range of valuation techniques as appropriate for the project 
• Analysing other data related to project economics and using this to determine appropriate forecasts for prospective investments
• Developing and using sophisticated models to facilitate financial planning and evaluation
• Preparing reports to the required standard with a focus on guiding business and investment decisions
• Respond to requests for research on new investment opportunities to enable senior management to consider their potential contribution to Group objectives
• Coordinate commercial aspects of project implementation to facilitate completion and ensure adherence to statutory requirements
• Participate in external negotiations on acquisitions, divestments and major supply arrangements to ensure satisfactory terms are achieved Opportunity Development
• Contribute to identifying opportunities and driving development
• Maintain awareness of Australian corporate activity Knowledge Management
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal clients
• Develop and maintain relationships with external advisors
• Provide advice to, and seek input from, internal clients in an effective manner Leadership
