Manager/Senior Manager – Asset Management, Global Real Assets Investor

Our client is a global real assets investor, developer and asset manager, which is rapidly growing its presence in the Australian market and overseas. Focusing on investments in sustainable infrastructure and real estate, this is a business passionate about delivering strong returns for their investors and capital partners, whilst meeting their sustainability and environmental goals. They have an opportunity for a Manager or Senior Manager to join their Global Asset Management team in Sydney.
Working closely with the Global Head of Asset Management, this strategic role will provide support in capital allocation, liquidity management, risk mitigation and delivery of performance insights and recommendations for senior leadership.

More specific responsibilities include:

• Finalising the annual business plan and updating to reflect any major changes in market conditions
• Tracking platform and asset performance across a range of metrics including NAV
• Providing analysis and recommendations for capital allocation and debt management
• Helping with capital raising activities and management of investor relationships
• Monitoring capital efficiency and recommending exit strategies for under-performing assets, for capital recycling
• Managing global-level risks across core sectors and geographies.

We feel this will suit a strategically minded corporate finance or asset management professional - from a fund, corporate, Big 4 valuations/infrastructure advisory team or similar - that wants to join an entrepreneurial and fast-growing real assets platform with fresh capital to deploy.

Given the role will have a lot of exposure to senior leadership - across different geographies - excellent communication and stakeholder management skills will be essential. Experience with investments, managing fundraising processes and valuation of assets is strongly favoured.
