We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Associate with expertise in financing and managing infrastructure projects that support the global shift towards sustainable energy systems. As an infrastructure-focused investor, the successful candidate will lead and oversee investments in the renewable energy and clean technology sectors, driving long-term value creation and accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Portfolio Oversight & Strategy Development:
- Lead the development and execution of portfolio strategies for energy and infrastructure investments, ensuring alignment with the firm’s investment objectives and risk tolerance.
- Continuously assess and monitor the performance of assets within the portfolio, implementing necessary adjustments to optimize returns and mitigate risks.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management regarding portfolio allocation, diversification, and new investment opportunities.
Financial Management & Performance Monitoring:
- Oversee the financial performance of energy and infrastructure assets, ensuring that investments meet both financial and operational goals.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting, return on investment (ROI) analysis, and risk assessment to track portfolio performance.
- Manage the preparation of quarterly and annual portfolio reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing comprehensive insights into asset performance, market trends, and potential opportunities.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the portfolio, particularly regulatory, operational, financial, and market risks, ensuring that risk is managed effectively.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and global regulations, particularly those relevant to energy, infrastructure, and environmental standards.
- Monitor and manage regulatory changes and policy shifts affecting the portfolio, recommending necessary adjustments.
Investment Analysis & Due Diligence:
- Lead the evaluation and due diligence process for new energy and infrastructure investment opportunities, assessing their viability, risk-return profile, and alignment with the firm’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including financial analysts, legal, and technical experts, to conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments.
Market Research & Trend Analysis:
- Stay informed on industry trends, technological innovations, market dynamics, and policy changes in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats, recommending adjustments to the portfolio as necessary.
