Investment Manager - Real Estate Private Credit

Our client is a well-regarded, established Australian private capital fund, operating multiple credit investment strategies. They are seeking a talented mid-level individual to join as Investment Manager in their Real Estate Credit vertical, providing real estate debt capital solutions for investors and developers.

You will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing real estate investment transactions. This is an important hire, the engine room of the deal team, who will play a crucial role in driving the strategy's continued success and growth. The position requires a solid understanding of real estate markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to cultivate and maintain relevant market relationships.

Key Responsibilities include:

Investment analysis: Assess, and analyse potential real estate investment opportunities, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties.

Structuring and due diligence: Assist the structuring and due diligence process for potential investments, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment. Collaborate with legal, financial, and technical personnel to ensure thorough evaluation and mitigate risks.

Assisting deal sourcing: Build a client base by developing relationships, with developers, investors and brokers through market research, networking, and collaboration with industry partners.
